The story of Silk Fab apartments started when an old Athenian decided to welcome guests to his childhood area in one of the most historic neighborhoods in downtown Athens. The hospitality cannot be anything less than authentic Greek. The apartment block has been newly constructed. Five modern fully equipped apartments tastefully decorated and furnished. Each able to sleep 4 people comfortably. The apartments are in the middle of a quiet residential tree-lined pedestrianized street, with great transport links, easy access to the metro Metaxourgeio " (8 minute walk) and “Karaiskaki” Metro station. The Metaxourgeio area is famous for the Silk factory that was built in the 19th century and the areas is acquiring a reputation as an artistic and fashionable neighbourhood due to the opening of many art galleries, museums, and trendy restaurants and cafes Gazi is approximately a 10 minute walk away, with great food, cafes, bars and nightlife. The apartments are ideally located for the centre of town yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful time away from the noisy city centre.
